JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Office of Entrepreneurship and Commercialization (OEC), in partnership with Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics (ICA) is seeking an experienced, collaborative and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to support the Brand Academy, designed to support student-athletes and others to more successfully develop, manage, and monetize their personal brand through name, image, likeness (NIL) and support their entrepreneurial interests. At its core, the Brand Academy's role is to help student-athletes view themselves as entrepreneurs and to develop an entrepreneurial mindset, which can serve them well in their careers long after they have left college and athletic competition. With new opportunities related to NIL, the academy will play a critical role in helping educate student-athletes on evaluating and navigating NIL opportunities and building entrepreneurial skills. This role is a fully in-person role and based at the Morgan Academic Center on the University Park Campus. Reporting to the Director of the Brand Academy, this individual is responsible for, but not limited to, developing and delivering programming in alignment with the Academy's strategic plan for support of student-athletes personal brand and entrepreneurial success. Education and Experience: The minimum qualifications are a Bachelor's degree or higher and 6+ years of experience developing educational programming, or relatable experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Other qualifications include the following:
