Responsibilities

Arcfield is seeking a System Engineer intern to develop a centralized, scalable, and reusable solution for tracking the full lifecycle of employees within one of our largest programs - from candidate selection to onboarding and beyond. The intern will analyze existing manual processes and disparate tools to create an efficient, automated staffing management solution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and provide technical recommendations for modernizing staffing on the program
  • Design and develop standard and ad hoc reports to provide senior executives with insights into staffing trends and program health
  • Assist in developing staffing metrics to measure growth, retention on program
  • Integrate employee billable hours with staffing data to automate monthly estimate at completion (EAC) reports

  • Improved understanding of staffing effectiveness
  • Data-driven insights into staffing trends.

Qualifications

  • HS 3-4 Years
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics or a related field
  • Experience or coursework in database design, database development, data management and analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of HR or staffing concepts (a plus but not required)
  • Data analytics and visualization (Excel, Power BI, or Tableau)
  • Understanding of HR metrics and workforce analytics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
