Step into a role as Business Intelligence Reporting Specialist at Bright Horizons, where you will be primarily responsible for the compiling of data from various sources for the Qlik Dev Team and company reporting.

As the BI Reporting Specialist, you'll work directly with major stakeholders to address ad-hoc and/or regular stakeholder-specific reporting needs around metrics. This position is project driven as needs arise in addition to completing and distributing standard and non-standard monthly report support. You will serve as primary support for BI projects and Qlik reporting initiatives and will ensure BI deliverables are fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner.

Responsibilities:

How do you know if you're the right candidate?

  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of various Bright Horizons reporting systems including all data points and metrics tracked within the system.

  • Responsible for supporting upkeep and data validation for large data extracts that support data points, reports, flat files and dashboards that are key to the successful operations of BI reporting

  • Provide support for Business Intelligence team for all stakeholder reporting and analysis.

  • Identify and report trends to Qlik Dev Team and Business Analyst

  • Work independently with IT, stakeholders, and Business Analyst to investigate viability of department's ability to meet reporting needs.

  • Test and review enhancements made to software and reporting systems

  • Works independently and has decision making authority in areas of responsibility.

  • Works directly with stakeholders and internal team members to create and deliver data, reports and analyses that meet stakeholder data and BI Qlik reporting team needs; makes recommendations for specific projects

  • All ad-hoc reports and report templates should be reviewed at each step with the Qlik Dev Team or BI supervisor as appropriate before being shared with the stakeholder/requestor to ensure proper internal communication of potential data and/or analysis issues.

Qualifications:

  • The successful candidate will be able to manage multiple priorities and tasks with relative ease.

  • A self-starter and a leader who is highly motivated and organized and who can help provide strategic thinking in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent customer service skills with stakeholder management experience preferred

  • Excellent level of attention to detail and follow-up

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge (data mining, pivot tables)

  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team environment; able to prioritize work and multi-task

  • Ability to work in a fast paced and highly dynamic environment

  • Demonstrated analytical skills; comfortable working with large and complex sets of data

  • Ability to run SQL queries, CRM Advanced Finds, Queries from 3rd party platforms and experience with Dashboarding/Analytical tools

  • Hours will fluctuate based on the projects and deadlines given

Salary/Hourly Rate and Other Compensation Disclosures:

The annual starting salary for this position is between $65,000 - 67,000 annually. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors
