Job Title: Medical Technician(Phlebotomists) Location: White River Junction, VT 05009 Duration: 3 Months to long term Shift: 1st/2nd/3rd shift Role: On Site Pay Rate: :$20-28/hr Role & Responsibilities: The employee will perform patient phlebotomy to include inpatient ward rounds, inpatient and outpatient, Emergency Department (ED), STAT, as soon as possible (ASAP), and timed draws. The employee will perform sample processing and send out preparation. As part of safety, positively identifies patients prior to sample collection and samples prior to testing or aliquoting. As part of safety and safeguards electronic and paper patient information. Independently tests, evaluates, documents, and reports patient testing and Quality Control (QC); identifies, documents, and resolves any collection, processing, testing or reporting issues. Identifies, documents, and resolves any collection, processing, testing, or reporting issues. Assures patient-centered care and provides service in a manner that is professional and will avoid complaints from all stakeholders and customers. Qualifications: The Phlebotomist assigned by the Contractor to perform the services covered by this contract must have three (3) years of recent Phlebotomy experience.
