The successful applicant will be performing work on US Government classified environments, and therefore, must be a U.S. Person (i.e., U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee). This position will perform work that the U.S. government has specified can only be performed by a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil. The successful applicant must have a current US Government TS/SCI. Must live within commuting distance and be able to work onsite 4-5 days per week in the Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C. client locations. The Team The position is with working with a great team of engineers that have years of experience supporting their customer base and years of Cisco expertise. The customer base is unique and provides huge opportunity across the technology space from basic web applications to huge analytic clusters and next generation cloud infrastructures. We have a phenomenal opportunity to develop deeper relationships with our customers as we deliver solutions higher up the software stack. Role and Responsibilities: Work directly with customer delivering Cisco solutions. Present Cisco products, prototyping of customer solutions to support larger sales opportunities and customer deployments. Deploy applications in modern environments including system automation, scripting and/or automation tools; datacenter environments including storage, compute, networking, private & public cloud. Engage our customers in new areas like application development and datacenter operations Local to the Washington, DC Metro area - Cisco Office is in Reston & Tysons, VA Minimum Qualifications: BS/BA in Engineering or Computer Science Experience in Enterprise, Route/Switch space. Minimum 5 years experience working in customer space.
