The Data, Discovery, and Decision Science (D3) team at Allstate is at the forefront of research and analytics, addressing some of the most complex challenges in the industry. About the Program

Are you ready to kickstart your career while still in college? Allstate's Apprenticeship Program is the perfect opportunity for you to gain hands-on experience in your field. Through this program, you'll work in an area of your interest, build professional relationships through mentoring and networking, and benefit from additional learning opportunities. With a flexible remote work schedule, you can effectively balance your professional and academic commitments. Position Overview:
D3 is seeking a highly motivated and eager apprentice to join our Talent and Analytics Maturity team as a Talent Development Associate. In this role, you will support the development, implementation, and execution of various technical learning programs designed for our D3 employees. This opportunity provides hands-on experience in talent development, learning strategies, and program management within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation and design of technical learning programs tailored to the needs of D3 employees.
  • Support the coordination and execution of learning initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of materials and resources.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to gather content and insights for training programs.
  • Help track and monitor learner progress, including maintaining records and providing reports on training outcomes.
  • Provide administrative support for training sessions, including scheduling, organizing materials, and setting up virtual training environments.
  • Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of learning programs through feedback surveys, assessments, and other evaluation methods.
  • Support the communication of program details to employees, including creating and sending out program announcements and reminders.
  • Contribute to the improvement of existing training materials and suggest updates based on feedback and results.
  • Participate in team meetings, contributing ideas for new learning initiatives and continuous improvement.
  • Assist in research related to emerging learning technologies and methodologies to enhance the learning experience.

Qualifications:

  • Must currently be pursuing an Associate's Degree inBusiness, Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in learning and development, talent management, and employee training.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt strategies to support changing priorities and goals.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with learning management systems (LMS) is a plus.
  • A proactive mindset, eager to learn and take on new challenges.

Supervisory Responsibilities:This job does not have supervisory duties.

Compensation:

As an apprentice, you will work between 20-30 hours per week at a rate of $25/hour.
