Overview

This position is part of the Global Sustainability Team, supporting the global sales organization in driving sustainable, data-driven supply chain transformation. As a customer-facing role, this position is responsible for creating and presenting financially backed business cases that emphasize the sustainability impact of Blue Yonder's solutions. The team collaborates closely with customers, product sales team, and internal stakeholders to develop strategies that optimize operations while reducing environmental footprints.

Scope

Key responsibilities include conducting discovery sessions with customers, collaborating with internal teams to quantify sustainability benefits, and developing compelling executive-level presentations that showcase the economic, social, and environmental value of Blue Yonder's solutions. While this role is not a sales posiiton, it is sales-adjacent. The role may also involve working on special projects related to sustainability initiatives.

What you'll do

  • Lead value engineering engagements with a strong focus on sustainability-driven outcomes
  • Develop business cases that demonstrate the financial, operational, and environmental benefits of Blue Yonder's solutions
  • Conduct discovery sessions with customers to assess current supply chain challenges, with a focus on carbon footprint reduction, circular economy strategies, and resource efficiency
  • Define and communicate the sustainability value proposition of Blue Yonder's solutions, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory trends
  • Develop and deliver executive-level presentations that illustrate the economic and environmental impact of our technology
  • Guide internal teams on sustainability benchmarking and best practices
  • Assist in the development of self-service tools and collateral to support sustainability-focused sales engagements
  • Work closely with peers and leadership to establish strategies that drive sustainability outcomes in sales cycles
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, positioning Blue Yonder as a leader in sustainable supply chain innovation

What we are looking for

  • 10+ years of supply chain experience, with a strong focus on sustainability, operations, finance, or consulting is required
  • Experience in carbon accounting, sustainable logistics, circular supply chains, or ESG reporting is a plus
  • 5+ years' experience in sales support (e.g. presales, consulting, value engineering, or sustainability advisory)
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with Microsoft Office, data visualization, and business case modeling
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred: Business, Supply Chain, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Finance, or related field)
  • MBA or Sustainability Certification preferred (e.g., GRI, LEED, APICS, or Six Sigma with a sustainability focus)
  • Ability to travel globally, as needed, for customer engagements (approx 50%)

The salary range for this position is $120,334.55 to $151,665.44

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
