The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.

SPA's Strategic Division's Strategic Development Group (SDG) supports critical U.S. government programs providing Systems Engineering support, Systems Safety support and Financial Analysis support. The position is in support of the U.S. Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP).

SPA has an immediate need for a Program Analyst with Logistics experience in Washington, DC (Maritime Plaza).

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.Washington D.C. Pay Transparency: $145,000 - $180,000 per year.



Responsibilities

Support Navy SSP in planning, coordination, and execution of Systems Engineering, Operational Analysis, and Program Management activities supporting the Sea-Launched Cruise Missile-Nuclear (SLCM-N) Program. Support project teams executing the systems development, requirements development, and program analysis tasks required to develop the SLCM-N missile system and integrate it into fast attack submarines. The successful candidate will work across SPA and other organization contributing to logistics processes and develop and support the lifecycle sustainment and core logistics programs.



Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Active SECRET or higher DoD security clearance.
  • 8-10+ years of experience as a logistician or supply chain manager within a DoD environment.
  • Experience on a OSD A&S, ASN RD&A, OPNAV, SECNAV or Joint Staff.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Nuclear Weapons Programs and Operations.
  • Experience with ACAT 1D programs and large-scale defense projects.
  • Experience leading a team and training junior employees.
  • Master's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
