JOB SUMMARY: The Associate Operations Technology Specialist is responsible for supporting the factory and maintaining the reliability and functionality of in-house (factory floor and administrative) computer hardware, software, network, and communication systems. Will be responsible for troubleshooting, coordination of deployment, installation, upgrade, and un-installation of plant floor hardware and software. Coordination and resolution of user's requests related to computer hardware and software issues. Provide midrange plant floor systems support and advanced support for office users and systems. Will be responsible to provide information systems support for day-to-day manufacturing operations; troubleshoot network/application/hardware related issues; engage in and execute system software changes and upgrades; participate and sometimes lead small IT related capital project implementations; support factory and category initiatives to drive continuous improvement. Must have strong prioritization skills, and strong understanding of the factory business processes and the integration of technology. Will be responsible for learning (in depth) all the practices and procedures for the IT department; As well as the software and hardware utilized throughout the manufacturing process. RESPONSIBILITIES: Install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot in-house office related computer hardware, software, and multi-media systems. Provide first level plant floor systems and office users/systems support (iPad, Onboarding). Assist in maintaining & monitoring company data backup procedures, disaster recovery plans, security and authorization policies. Implement systems software upgrades Assist in the maintenance of accurate & up to date audit records of plant hardware. (Asset Management). May Perform purchase requests for systems related hardware and miscellaneous IT items. Provide demand-based technical support including off-hours support as per departmental rotation schedule. Understand high level business and manufacturing processes that utilize information technology and functionality of core factory operational systems. Install and troubleshoot plant floor (FFIT) computer software and hardware. Coordinate hardware repairs with vendors as needed Provide IT support on small projects. Lead small IT Projects and work in a lean/agile environment Participate in cross-functional process improvement teams to drive plant performance through improved processes and system performance. (Product Group) Working knowledge of Corporate Compliance & System Standards and Guidelines. Ensure adherence to Nestle IT Compliance Guidelines and FAS requirements at the factory. Maintain working knowledge of plant process controls environment to ensure hardware/software compatibility. REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL High school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of related experience OR 2-year technical degree in Computer Science, Electronics or Computer Technology or equivalent and 2+ years of related experience EXPERIENCE: (Three or more of the following)
SKILLS: Systems operations, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Warehouse Management Systems, Various Operating Systems, Network operating systems, databases and queries, programming experience with various languages, communication protocols, internet/intranet related concepts. Troubleshooting network configuration errors and problems. Support computer hardware, software, and printers in an office and manufacturing environment. Theapproximate payrange for this position is $68,000 to $75,000.Please note that thepayrangeprovided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation mayvary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographiclocation.
