As a Utilities Engineer you will ensure the optimal performance of the utility system processes, equipment and media streams through process parameters, preventative maintenance coordination, and investment and provide technical knowledge, training, and leadership for operational improvements. In this role you'll make an impact by: * Identify equipment issues and facilitate maintenance activities to improve overall performance of sitewide utility functions * Comply with all relevant regulatory/Novonesis standards and identify and eliminate relevant gaps. * Participate actively in the Occupational Health and Safety work of the plant, adhere to all safety policies and procedures, and participate in the safety/risk management to minimize corporate liability. * Support technical training and certification of operators and relevant staff personnel. * Develop and maintain Standard Operational Procedures, checklists, forms and training manuals. * Develop process, operational and equipment better practices. * Optimize efficiency of process flow, equipment, and process control systems * Lead and/or sponsor capital projects and follow up on performance and completion. * Prepare presentations and written status reports to ensure technical information is appropriately communicated and archived. * Investigate potentials and drive improvements of the plant performance preferably using tools like; lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and statistical tools.
