Mott MacDonald is looking for professionals to join our ever-expanding Transportation team in the Washington metropolitan area. We are currently looking for a full-time site Office Engineer with experience in rail transportation and infrastructure industry. The successful candidate is required to have a strong understanding of the construction industry and experience working on public agency projects. The Office Engineer (OE) is responsible for the administrative and technical support activities on all program procurement activities. Specifically, the OE manages varied project administrative functions for maintaining contract records, plans and specifications, and related engineering and administrative records and providing overall support to the Project Manager's project implementation team. The OE would ordinarily be responsible for maintaining full familiarity with plans, specifications, construction schedules, and contractor's plans on assigned contracts, Project Implementation Manual and, current safety regulations relative to assigned projects in order to be knowledgeable of the contractor's obligations and the Project Manager's responsibilities with respect thereto. The OE shall supervise subordinates in disseminating such information to the office and field staff as required to keep all pertinent Authority personnel accurately informed of relevant matters. The OE would work within the Project Manager's prescribed guidelines and procedures and serve under the direction of the Project Manager. The expected salary for this position is $89,000 - $109,000 Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience, and unique skills.
