About the role:
As a Project Engineer you will be part of the Poland AP1000 Project Engineering in the Engineering and Licensing functional disciplines. You will plan and complete scopes of work to support delivery of the first AP1000 Reactors in Poland. You will report to the Senior Project Manager. You will workhybridat the manager's discretion requiring 2-3 days on-site at a WestinghouseUS Engineering Location.

Responsibilities:
Complete all aspects of planning process including authoring project plans and developing scope, schedule, and cost baselines
Profitability of contracts based on project plan, following protocols for acquiring team members to complete the work
Manage scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications, and partners through use of delegates/support as applicable
Communicate project/contract requirements, and subsequent changes, to teams following an integrated change management process
Prepare or oversee project cost expenditure forecasts and progress including Earned Value Management to support project performance and financial reporting requirements
Project expenditures for compliance with project baselines and scope
Project process metrics and process maps to ensure project status understanding
Close project by archiving work in financial, scheduling, document management, and resource management systems/tools
Final project quality assessment and report out identifying opportunities for improvement, lessons, and risk avoidance for future work
Maintain relationships with product line team and partners
Seek opportunities for continuous improvement
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree. Applicable disciplines are Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline
4+ years Senior or Principal level experience required
2+ years Westinghouse, industry, or relevant experience may include nuclear projects
Coordinate small-scale scopes or projects
Lead medium to high complexity projects
Knowledge of PMI
Software like P6, SAP, ARM or similar and techniques including Earned Value Management
Develop relationships with partners in upper management positions to analyze problems, establish facts, and make complex decisions
