Mead & Hunt is currently looking for a Construction Inspector 1 in the Northeast Wisconsin region.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing support services on transportation construction engineering projects throughout the Northeast Region in Wisconsin
• Monitoring construction activities
• Conducting inspections
• Performing contract administration tasks
• Other duties as assigned

Travel to construction sites is an essential function of this position; valid driver's license is required, as well as extended hours and overnight stays.

The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:

• An Associate's Degree in Construction Management or related filed from an accredited college or university
• A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university is preferred
• At least two years of relevant work experience
• WisDOT highway and bridge construction project experience
• Experience with construction management software (FieldManager or AASHTOWare)
• Experience with AutoCAD or Civil3D
• EIT certification or PE license
• Certifications relevant to WisDOT construction
