2nd Shift Warehouse Assortment Maker

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair and operation products, is searching for a 2nd Shift Warehouse Associate to work in our Assortments Department in our Distribution Center for our Columbus, OH location.

Requirements:

• Performs those day to day operations related to filling assortment orders
• Picks, fills, and labels assortment orders
• Maintains the quality of the product
• Performs accurate inventory cycle count
• Heavy lifting, stacking and transporting of product throughout the day

Qualifications:

• The ability to read and write small letters and numbers; the ability to make arithmetic calculations; and the ability to follow and understand written and oral instructions
• The ability to concentrate and to communicate with management and co-workers
• The ability to lift objects weighing fifty (50) pounds waist to waist, waist to floor and waist to shoulder
• The ability to do frequent neck flexions and twisting while sitting, standing or squatting
• The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time on concrete floor
• Thie ability to push or pull up to 10 pounds
• The ability to finely manipulate and grip objects
• The ability to squat and reach overhead to gain access to higher and lower shelves
• The ability to push carts carrying multiple totes containing assortment components

Additional Information:

This is a full time position. Hours are Monday - Friday, 2:30pm-11:00pm

The pay rate is $18 per hour

Overtime is possible.
