SENIOR ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER The primary role of the Sr. Electrical Project Manager is to be a lead resource and provide guidance for McGough's entire construction team regarding Electrical systems from pre-construction to project close out, while providing best value to the project and our clients. Qualifications: Required: * 12+ years experience with mechanical/electrical contractor/general contractor Preferred: * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Construction Management Office and Travel: This is a travel position for our National Operating unit. Site is in Ellendale North Dakota. Position included GSA per diem rates and travel home every three weeks (long weekend) provided by company. Project could be as long as 2+ years. All National Operating Unit employees are traveling personnel. Responsibilities and Tasks: Review mechanical/electrical (as well as CSA) design drawings and specifications MEP contractor selection As a Member of PM team during construction Work with construction team through project closeout and commissioning Physical Requirements: The physical requirements listed here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Position involves sitting for extended periods of time while working at a computer terminal. Employee must be able to communicate effectively in a typical office environment with a standard level of office noise. Occasional standing, bending, walking and lifting is also required. Employee will be required to visit construction jobsites, which may expose the employee to dirt, dust, uneven surfaces, outdoor weather conditions and extreme temperatures. In addition, employee must be able to move around prospective or current project sites. This includes climbing ladders, walking on uneven surfaces, walking long distances, and climbing stairs. |
