What you'll be doing...

The Product Development Senior Manager will be a member of the Consumer Fios Base Marketing CAR team. In this role you will proactively identify opportunities to steer the customer base through profitability strategies to drive revenue, margin and Gig steps accretion while maintaining healthy churn and LIS, formulating ideas and carry them through execution and beyond to retrospective, post-offer analysis, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing performance across a variety of metrics, i.e. KPIs, LNP, Segmentation, Propensity, etc. to uncover new opportunities for growth and revenue from the Verizon base.

  • Harnessing the power of data to identify the best ways to target consumers. Use broad industry perspective to interpret competitive information, draw intelligent conclusions, provide assessments at the strategic and tactical level, and formulate promo recommendations on proactive and/or reactive actions.

  • Leveraging data to formulate a perspective and develop an integrated marketing strategy to lead profitability generating programs, product lifecycle programs and/or upgrade programs based on the current business environment.

  • Working cross functionally with stakeholders in Sales, Operations, Marketing, IT, Operations, Finance to build and complete business cases and well as operational plans; Present strategy to key VPs and directors within the organization and align resources and cross functional support to execute on the plan of record; integrate roadmap into the communication plan to show how each initiative is aligned to the business revenue targets and your critical area of focus.

  • Understanding the consumer behavior within the home and mobile industry, and how competitive actions influence the marketing landscape and our ability to meet our objectives from a growth & retention perspective.

  • Utilizing experience and business knowledge to develop annual marketing plans as well as guide strategy & execution of key marketing programs.

  • Understanding and leveraging knowledge of Verizon Database infrastructure, propensity models and ability to translate into campaign level initiatives for customer actions.

  • Working within CRM systems & tools to design and implement marketing programs for both inbound and outbound campaigns; Have a working knowledge of CRM processes from marketing and customer experience perspective.

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

  • Experience in business case development.

  • Product management experience, and/or financial modeling experience.

  • Experience building decks and presenting to executive level stakeholders.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Operations Research or Engineering Management.

  • Strong Oral and written interpersonal skills and time management.

  • Familiarity with managing and Database systems/ scorecards.

  • Agile development experience.

  • Illustrating leadership among peers. Project management experience, knowing how to deliver on time while delivering program success.

  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $128,000.00 and $238,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
