The Opportunity: This position is in Counseling and Psychologist Services and supports UCF students' mental health by providing primarily clinical services, which includes initial assessments, individual and group counseling, crisis management, consultation to parents, faculty, staff and students. This position/classification may be moved at the management's discretion within the SSWB division to a commensurate level as determined by the Vice President of Student Development and Enrollment Services or his/her designee. Responsibilities: Provide (in-person or tele-mental health) initial assessments, triage, individual (short-term/brief therapy) and group therapy and consultation and referral services to currently enrolled UCF students and in extenuating circumstances, non-enrolled and/or non-students along with other University community members. Provide crisis intervention, management and follow up services and may initiate and authorize involuntary examination (Baker Act) procedures in accordance with statute 394.463, Florida Mental Health Act. If unlicensed, clinician will receive supervision by licensed therapist. Minimum Qualifications:
