Your Job
As the Chief Inspector at INVISTA Victoria, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality and compliance of all inspection activities within the Victoria Site. You will lead a team of inspectors, manage inspection programs, and ensure that all inspections are conducted in accordance with industry standards and regulatory guideline. Your role is critical in maintaining the integrity and safety of our operations. Our Team You will be leading a dedicated team of inspectors who are committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. The team works collaboratively to perform inspections, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions. You will work closely with other departments to ensure that inspection activities are integrated seamlessly into the overall operations of the facility. What You Will Do * Lead the fixed mechanical integrity program at a PSM Covered Facility. * Manage all inspection activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements to ensure a highly reliable performance. This includes: * On-Stream Inspection Program * Fixed Equipment Turnaround Scoping * Risk Based Inspection Program * Review and analyze inspection data, identify trends, and partner with the business units to resolve corrective actions. * Lead the team that develops and implements fixed inspection strategies and associated quality assurance procedures to ensure timely and effective inspections. * Review and analyze inspection data, identify trends, and partner with the business units to resolve corrective actions. * Collaborate with other teams to address inspection-related issues and ensure continuous improvement. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Including Programs in: CUI, Cathodic Protection, Underground Piping, and Deadleg Management. * Ensure that all inspection equipment is properly maintained and calibrated. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * One of the following: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field PLUS 2 years in a chemical or refinery environment. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in inspection or quality assurance within a manufacturing or industrial environment. * API 510 & 570 Certification. * Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to inspections. * Experience with leading, mentoring and/or coaching. What Will Put You Ahead * Certification in Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) or other relevant inspection certifications. * Experience in the chemical, petrochemical industry and PSM Covered Facility. * Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma. * Proficiency in inspection software and data analysis tools.
