Overview

This position is on the staff of a government consulting firm located in Tysons, VA. The Portfolio Change Release Management SME will support to all Change/Release activities for the GCSS Army system and works closely with the Program Management Leadership, Release Architects and Army Shared Services/Lead Software Integrator personnel. The primary responsibilities include supporting the Change Release Management Agile processes, ensuring all efforts are coordinated with ASSC and Trading partners and other ERPs to ensure consistency at Army Enterprise level. Remote work is an option but, must be able to come to client site when needed in Fort Gregg Adams, Virginia.



Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

    Coordinates prioritization of Portfolio Items.
  • Coordinate and manage prioritization of demands.
  • Coordinates Release Technical Reviews (scheduling, scope sheets, presentation materials).
  • Coordinates development of Release Notes and Release Deployment Plans.
  • Provides Release Deployment messaging - preparatory activity through post implementation.
  • Coordinates Senior Release approval meetings (PdM prep, Sr. Leadership brief).
  • Coordinates identification of targeted Release content with Development / Test representatives.
  • Maintains Portfolio details and document artifacts.
  • Facilitates all weekend maintenance outages and reports to GCSS Army leadership any issues.
  • Collaborate with multiple internal/external stakeholders.
  • Write ServiceNow stories.
  • Complete User Acceptance Testing in ServiceNow
  • Manage Incidents and link to the portfolios.
  • Multi-task answering emails, phone calls, Teams calls while performing regular duties.
  • Provides support to all meetings and working groups.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience relevant to the position.
  • Demonstrated ServiceNow experience required, with experience in the following modules: Release Management, Idea, Demand Management, Change Management, Managed Documents, Reports, Audit, Incident Management, Enterprise Release, CMDB, Defects and building dash boards.
  • 8-10+ years' experience with ERP systems (in Release Management, Change Management, Development/Configuration, Testing).
  • 3+ years' experience with program / project scheduling.
  • 3+ years' experience working in Scaled Agile environment.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Project, Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and with multiple stakeholders across the GCSS Army program and trading partners.
  • Must be able to present ideas, concerns, and information in a clear and concise manner to all levels of Government and Program personnel.
  • Must have current Active Secret Clearance and ability to obtain a CAC card.
  • Previous knowledge and experience with GCSS Army is a plus.
  • SAFe Certifications (Scrum Master, Product Owner, Agilist, etc..) are all a plus.

Work Location: If less than 50 miles - FT Gregg Adams, Virginia, if more than 50 miles 100% remote will be considered.

The salary range for this position is -$135,000-$145,000
