Medical Technologist

Job Overview: Clinical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for performing moderate-complex laboratory tests and analyses to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases,

This role involves working with variety of laboratory equipment and technologies, maintaining laboratory safety standards, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting of test results,

Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in the areas of Blood Bank, Hematology, and Chemistry,

Ability to monitor and troubleshoot quality control test results to ensure accurate reporting,

Work closely with other laboratory staff, physicians, and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care,

Qualifications:
Required:

• BA/BS Degree in Medical Technology and /or related science
• 2 to 3 years clinical laboratory experience

Preferred:

• National certification preferable.

Scheduling Requirements:

• Full Time
• Evening Shift

Essential Functions:

• Medical Technologist is responsible for pre-Analytical, Analytical, and Post-Analytical workflow processes in Blood Bank, Chemistry, UA, and Hematology Department,
• Performs daily QC , troubleshooting, and communicating with caregivers for critical results,
• In addition, adherence to policy and procedures and perform other duties under the direction of the departmental supervisor,
