Network Firewall Engineer * We are looking for a network engineer with Palo Alto experience, specifically to work on a project to eliminate a vWire configuration. * This will be an ongoing project aimed at converting the remaining vWires, as well as cleaning up the firewall rules, virtual systems (vsys), routing, and zones. Position Summary: * The Network Engineer will focus on applying policies to V-wire configurations in Palo Alto to improve traffic efficiency * This role involves policy review, troubleshooting, and implementing firewall rules based on security guidelines set by the Infosec team * Convert V-wire configurations to Layer 3 routing rules on Palo Alto firewalls * Apply security policies as per Infosec guidelines and troubleshoot issues during the process * Work with network engineers and stakeholders to clarify and implement requests * Perform manual reviews and troubleshooting to ensure policies are effective and traffic flows smoothly Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $67.00/hr.
