STV is looking for a Construction Manager to lead the execution of large-scale transit and rail infrastructure projects in Chicago. This role is for an experienced leader who thrives on managing construction operations, coordinating teams, and ensuring successful project delivery. You will oversee project execution from start to finish, ensuring work meets budget, schedule, and quality expectations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and direct all aspects of transit/rail construction projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget execution.

  • Oversee project teams, including field engineers, safety managers, and project control staff.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, designers, contractors, and stakeholders.

  • Ensure contractor performance, enforcing quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

  • Lead risk management and problem-solving, identifying potential issues and implementing solutions.

  • Review and approve change orders, RFIs, technical submittals, and budget adjustments.

  • Monitor and manage project controls, including scheduling, estimating, and cost management.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in Construction Management for transit/rail projects.

  • CCM (Certified Construction Manager) or PMP certification preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of project scheduling (Primavera P6), estimating, and contract administration.

  • Proven experience leading teams and coordinating with diverse project stakeholders.

  • Ability to identify risks and implement proactive solutions to keep projects moving forward.

Compensation Range:

$125,724.10 - $167,632.13
