Description

At Accuity, the 'Tower' is comprised of a DRG Integrity Specialist (DI Specialist), who is responsible for auditing and correcting coding within a medical chart and a Medical Director (MD), who is responsible for the clinical accuracy of that chart.

The Workforce Management Analyst will assist the leaders of the DRG Integrity and Medical Director teams with developing and coordinating all aspects of all employee schedules. The Analyst will also be a key player in employee scheduling and PTO request management.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists with creation and management of DI Specialist and MD pairings and schedules
  • Promptly reaches out to DI Specialist's and MDs via phone to find replacements for callouts and to manage any additional needs for back up coverage
  • Assists with tracking and coordination of DI Specialist and MD Time Off requests
  • Participate in team meetings and educational events as assigned
  • Maintain a collegial working relationship with DRG Integrity and Medical Director teams
  • Provide analytical services to optimize business performance
  • Monitor system access across the team and highlight areas of risk due to insufficient access
  • Assist in special projects and other roles and responsibilities as needed to support Accuity
  • Assists in the design and implementation of workforce management tools
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Requirements

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Minimum HS Diploma or GED required

Experience:

  • 3-5 years general office/management environment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to multiple levels of employees
  • Proven ability to use a PC in a Windows environment, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PPT, etc. and various EMR systems
  • Ability to critically think and work collaboratively with peers

Independent, focused individual able to work remotely or on-site
