Job Description

    Pay is $59.13 per hour
  • Part-Time, 16-24 hours per week
  • Will work remote but need to within driving distance to Bridgewater, NJ

Our risk and consulting group, under Allied Universal Enhanced Protection Services, is hiring an Investigator-Incident Coordinator. The Investigator-Incident Coordinator is responsible for performing a wide range of investigative work across the enterprise, including theft, fraud, policy violation, ethics complaints/violations, threats, and other types of ad-hoc investigations as requested. Works under minimal supervision, with latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct investigations of alleged violations of laws, policies, and regulations
  • Conduct background and personal history investigations, reviews records, and verifies information
  • Interview potential witnesses, complainants, and suspects
  • Obtain, verify, and record evidence and documents for use in investigations
  • Evaluate and summarize investigative findings
  • Prepare detailed records, correspondence, and thorough reports
  • Coordinate with law enforcement as requested
  • Triage incidents and escalates to customer's investigations team, as appropriate

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice or a related field
  • Interviewing certification through a credible source (i.e., Wicklander-Zulawski, etc.)
  • Ability to obtain licensure in a specialty area as required
  • Professional or educational experience requiring the demonstration of knowledge of investigative principles, techniques, and procedures; and court procedures, practices, and rules of evidence
  • Skilled in the operation of technical equipment and detection devices, in the use of a computer and applicable software, and in mediation and negotiation techniques
  • Ability to conduct investigations; to interpret and apply laws and regulations; to work with local, state, and federal agencies; to conduct interviews and gather facts; to evaluate findings; to prepare reports; and to communicate effectively
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required to testify in hearings and court proceedings
  • Coordination and collaboration skills to oversee and/or supervise the work of others
  • Ability to work in high-stress, fast-paced environments

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

  • Prior law enforcement investigative experience
