Job Title: Light Industrial - Light Industrial - Assembler 2 Location with zip code: Madison, AL, 35756 Duration: 6 Months Pay Rate. $24.00/hr. on W2 without Benefits. Shift Timing: Standard Job Description: Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. May disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions. Knowledge: Little or no knowledge of the job. Moderate understanding of general job aspects and some understanding of the detailed aspects of the job. Supervision Given and Received: Immediate supervision involving detailed verbal and written instructions. Frequent review of work performance. Close supervision involving detailed instructions and constant checking on work performance. Typical Duties and Tasks: Duties & tasks are varied but standardized. Performs some more advanced functions. Resolves routine questions and problems and refers more complex questions to higher levels. Consequence of Errors: Errors may be detected and corrected but may cause moderate loss of time or customer/user dissatisfaction. Contacts: Contacts are typically with individuals within own department and occasionally with contacts outside own organization. Contacts involve obtaining or providing information or data requiring some explanation or interpretation.
