Bring your expertise to a diverse and dynamic environment and partner with Advantage Resourcing. We have partnered with a manufacturing company in their hiring efforts for a Senior Cost Accountant in Franklin, LA.

Schedule: 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday

Salary: $100,000/yr. (+ potential for 8% bonus)

Senior Cost Accountant responsibilities:

Analyze production costs and manage month-end closing transactions using SAP, collaborating with plant teams as needed. Prepare monthly performance reports for the plant and corporate office using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Track fixed costs, identify key concerns, and provide projections. Work closely with production, procurement, and sales to forecast working capital. Evaluate capital expenditure projects and coordinate approvals with plant leadership and corporate offices. Support the Plant Controller in developing annual budgets and operating plans through direct engagement with site and corporate teams.

Qualifications:



  • Proficient in SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong multitasking and excellent communication skills
  • Adaptable to diverse environments and cultures across multiple locations
  • Skilled in collaborating with all levels of personnel, including upper management
  • Focused on enforcing corporate policies and procedures with accountability
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with 5-10 years of finance/accounting experience
