Description Location: NAS Patuxent River, MD Security Clearance Requirement: Secret Telework Eligible? No As the Senior Information/Data Manager, you will support NAVAIR's Persistent Maritime Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program Office (PMA-262) in Patuxent River, Maryland. This position is responsible for managing and transforming raw data into actionable insights by utilizing data-oriented programming languages, analytics tools, and visualization software. The role primarily focuses on configuring, customizing, and maintaining the DoD FlankSpeed (FS) SharePoint Online (SPO) systems. You will also design and implement scalable web applications utilizing NAVAIR approved software, write and modify code, and provide training to staff. Key Responsibilities:
- Apply data mining, data modeling, machine learning, and other analytics techniques to handle large datasets and provide meaningful interpretations.
- Coordinate the management and transformation of program data.
- Refine program processes and implement digital solutions for efficient data management.
- Stay current with emerging technologies to optimize program office information security and performance.
- Design, code, and maintain scalable applications for data management and visualization.
- Extend SharePoint functionality with forms, workflows, web parts, and application technologies.
- Test and debug code, ensuring the stability and functionality of software applications.
- Collaborate with various NAVAIR champion groups to troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
- Create and maintain SharePoint-based collaborative environments and applications.
- Develop and train staff on how to use SharePoint applications and other data management tools effectively.
- Maintain metadata infrastructure for managing program documentation and information.
- Develop dynamic data reports, visualizations, and dashboards to interpret and communicate data findings.

- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and 10 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree and 12 years of relevant work experience.
- Associate's degree and 14 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Frameworks, required.
- Proven background as a SharePoint developer with deep knowledge of SharePoint Online and MS Office tools.
- Proficiency in building and customizing SharePoint applications and extending its functionality.
- Experience with metadata structures for managing data and information in collaborative systems.
- Proficiency in additional programming languages and technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery, SQL Server (on-prem and Azure), Web Services, PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, is a plus.

Salary Range:
