Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.


Responsibilities for this Position

As a member of the Contracts Department Subcontracts Team, you will be responsible to provide contractual communication and commitments for the complete life cycle of Subcontracts in support of multiple Government contracts. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with both internal policies and Federal Regulations.

Duties and Tasks:
* An entry-level position in contract or subcontracts management
* Administers relatively non-complex contracts or subcontracts and monitors contract or subcontract performance
* Acts as focal point for contractual communications and commitments to customers or subcontractors
* Maintains documentation and files in accordance with applicable processes
* Participates as a key member of the proposal or program team to address contract or subcontract requirements
* Collaborates with the Capture/Proposal/Program Manager, including Program Manager Subcontracts, to support overall contract or subcontract performance
* Assures compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations and internal policies and procedures and seeks guidance, when needed
* Reviews or supports reviews of subcontractor proposals including management of the source selection process by participating with the proposal evaluation team in fact finding, technical evaluation,

and cost or price analysis, as applicable
* Reviews Requests for Proposals and participates in preparing compliant proposal responses which may include preparing or supporting subcontractor Request for Proposal documentation
* Negotiates contracts or subcontracts within business goals and documents substance of discussions, agreements, and results; Negotiates terms and conditions including estimated cost or price, delivery,

quality, and performance requirements
* Reviews contract or subcontract documents for accuracy, performance risk, and conformance with contract terms, conditions, and other provisions including applicable federal regulations and business

team objectives prior to signature / acceptance
* Works as a member of program team to ensure contract or subcontract requirements are fully understood and executed
* Responds to internal and external inquiries regarding contract or subcontract issues, audits, and compliance requirements with support from management, as needed
* Supports contract or subcontract change process and works with Program Management, Engineering, Finance, and other disciplines to mitigate performance risk
* Advises and supports business team on issues / developments relative to assigned contracts or subcontracts
* Builds customer or subcontractor relationships
* Supports the Contracts department operations and GDMS enterprise objectives
* Executes engagements with customers or subcontractors consistent with policies
* Supports subcontractor invoice review and approval processes to include resolving discrepancies,
as applicable

* Complete timely closeout of all completed subcontracts and task orders.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Has a working knowledge of contract or subcontract management
* Shows initiative on assignments, exercises good judgment, and professionally executes

projects with some direction
* Possesses good verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrates good analytical/critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and research skills
* Demonstrates flexibility and able to prioritize/re-prioritize with changing goals
* Collaborates and works effectively cross-functionally throughout the business
* Possesses good computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office) to support effective
communications and business needs

Target salary range: USD $60,681.00/Yr. - USD $65,659.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
