Research Assistant (Temporary Casual)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Lab Manager and PIs, this person will help with data analysis, data cleaning and other study related tasks for the Minnesota Tic and Compulsivity (MnTiC) Lab at the Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain (MIDB). This position will average 4-10 hrs per week with the potential for more hours depending on the study team's needs.

Ongoing research projects in the lab include studies to better understand and improve current treatments for tic disorders and OCD in child, adolescent and young adult populations. Studies involve behavioral therapy, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), neuroimaging, behavioral assessments and video tasks.

Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent with related experience. Has completed of at least 6 semesters towards an undergraduate degree. Experience in behavioral video coding. Able to work 4-10 hours per week.

Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in data collection and experience working or volunteering in a research lab.

This position is located in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences.

Pay Range: $15.25 - $18.00 per hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
