Key Account Manager - Distribution Services, Fort Lawn, South Carolina

Job Overview:

  • As the Key Account Manager for Distribution Services, you will manageand optimizes the Order to Cash process, including sales order management, logistics, and invoicing for distributor partners. Focuson building strong relationships with multiple distributors, ensuring product sourcing, transfer, and expedited shipping to meet fulfillment needs. Identifyand leadcontinuous improvement initiatives, monitorKPIs, and conductroot cause analysis to address demand and supply issues proactively.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include leading Non-SDC cross-organizational collaboration meetings, maintaining accurate distributor records, and understanding distributors' products and operations. Collaborates closely with the Sales team and aligns with company sales programs and objectives while monitoring market trends to drive order fulfillment. Works quickly to resolve distributor issues, supports warehouse operations, and participates in business unit initiatives.

  • Manages aspects of Order to Cash (Sales Order Management, Logistics, and Invoicing) for assigned Distributor partners including but not limited to:

    • Sales Order Processes

    • Unique Orders, Out of Sequence, Direct from Source/Direct Ship, Deployed to Order

    • Control State Management

    • International Segmentation

  • Manages multiple Distributor houses within the Strategic Distributor partner network.

  • Consistently manages and executes Distributor fulfillment needs to include sourcing product from multiple locations, transferring product and expediting shipment.

  • Works collaboratively with SDC/BPM on Order to Cash Global Process across the broader organization and entities, including continuous improvement, system enhancements, and testing.

  • Strives to meet or exceed corporate service targets, distributor satisfaction, and performance.

  • Supports EDI/Aggregate order setup and manages process to include distributor training, order facilitation and root cause analysis.

  • Communicates the non-SDC distributor's goals and represents their interests across Gallo.

  • Evaluates, manages and leverages non-SDC distributor scorecards to include forecast, inventory, depletions, and orders to proactively address demand and supply issues.

  • Manages Key Performance Indicators (Fill Rate, Order Cycle, DOS, Claims, etc.) for Non-SDC Distributors, performing root cause analysis, identifying, and implementing corrective action.

  • Leads and manages monthly cross-organizational Strategic Distributor Collaboration meetings.

What You Will Need:

  • Master's degree plus 2 years of B2B/B2C customer service, account management, logistics, finance, sales or marketing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of B2B/B2C customer service, account management, logistics, finance, sales or marketing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 8 years of B2B/B2C customer service, account management, logistics, finance, retail sales or marketing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.

  • Required to travel domestically and/or international up to 10% of time as needed.

  • Skilled in the use of MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel at an advanced level.

  • Skilled in the use of SAP, EWM, WMS and/or other ERP systems.

  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Compensation:

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $82,350 - $123,570/ year

  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
