Job Details

Under general supervision of the Business Analytics Manager, responsible for analyzing the effectiveness of existing procurement processes as it relates to the supply chain activity, ensuring manufacturer performance and Cencora objectives are aligned. Recommends and contributes to improved strategies in order to improve margins as a result of these efforts.

  • Evaluates business processes and designs, develops and implements improvements that reduce cost, improve effectiveness and improves the quality or magnitude of the end result
  • Develops new solutions to various tactical challenges MWI Animal Health faces as it relates to procuring product, managing supplier relations and meeting business objectives
  • Trains others in the solutions designed to carry the process in the Operate and Maintain mode
  • Acts as an internal consultant to other procurement areas in support of procurement projects to improve buy-side profits, inventory productivity or overall team effectiveness
  • Participates in Supply and Demand Chain projects across the organization
  • Works closely with suppliers and other functional areas in order to improve performance
  • Develops value-added services and solutions to respond to manufacturer needs
  • Develops decision support models supporting policy decisions in the supply chain activity
  • Performs related duties as assigned

Experience & Education:

  • Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Normally requires two (2) to four (4) years directly related and progressively responsible experience

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong familiarity with SQL is required
  • Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, or other data visualization software is required
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Superior analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work well within a team environment

*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
