Position Title: Director of Dining Services

Salary: $85,000-$90,000/yr

About the Role:
Are you a passionate Hospitality leader eager to shape exceptional dining experiences in an inspiring academic environment? As the Director of Dining Services at Ensworth School, you'll be at the heart of our school community, ensuring that every meal served is a reflection of quality, creativity, and care. You will lead a dedicated team, collaborate with chefs and management, and create memorable dining experiences for our students, faculty, and guests. Ensworth School is a vibrant K-12-day school with two campuses offering a college-preparatory environment where students can thrive preparing them for success in higher education and beyond. Our commitment to excellence extends to all aspects of student life, including the dining experience, where we strive to provide nourishing, delicious meals in an inspiring setting.

What You'll Do:

  • Build strong, lasting relationships with students, staff, faculty, and other departments to ensure a seamless and collaborative dining experience that supports the school's mission.
  • Work alongside our Culinary and management team to craft exciting, seasonal menus that delight our school community while promoting health and sustainability.
  • Oversee the financial performance of the dining services, including managing P&L, budgeting, and cost-control measures to ensure both quality and efficiency.
  • Introduce and manage innovative culinary programs that enhance the dining experience and reflect the school's commitment to excellence.
  • Lead, inspire, and mentor your team of dining associates, fostering an environment of growth, collaboration, and exceptional service.

What We're Looking For:

  • A degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in high-volume food service operations, with a background in catering and large-scale production.
  • Some experience in an education setting is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience managing budgets and financial performance, with a focus on cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • A passion for food, service, and the opportunity to grow within a dynamic, community-driven organization.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to inspire your team and drive results.
