Overview

We are looking for entrepreneurial and ambitious hard-chargers, who are looking to start or develop their sales careers, to join our rapidly growing team. Milton CAT is looking to invest in and develop the right individuals with the goal of supporting our sales team and expanding our market share as well as launching your career path within Milton CAT. You will go through an extensive training program covering "who we are at Milton CAT", the products, parts and services we represent and sell, our internal systems and departments, our sales methodology as well as the industry as a whole.

Pay range: $24 to $28 per hour based on experiece, plus quarterly bonus potential.

Initially in this role you will support our Outside Sales Reps by quoting service contract agreements, coordinating with service and providing administrative support to the sales team and manager with day-to-day operations. As you progress you will promote our dealership services by selling parts, service labor and Power Systems Customer Value Agreements (preventative maintenance service contracts) as well as rent stand by generators. You will develop new customer accounts as well as be responsible for re-establishing, qualifying and maintaining contact with existing small to medium-sized Milton CAT accounts.



Responsibilities

    Learn and master our corporate business systems to generate quotes and track orders
  • Assist customers with invoices, inspection reports and oil samples
  • Coordinate with service and rental teams with scheduling
  • Become the "go-to-person" for sales/sales management
  • Proactively manage a territory to increase awareness of our products, parts and services.
  • Prospect via phone, email, Linked In and referrals to develop/qualify leads and drive revenue.
  • Partner with field sales reps where needed


Qualifications

  • Strong entrepreneurial drive and work ethic
  • Process driven with strong attention to detail
  • Engineering and mechanically minded/technically oriented (You know how an engine works)
  • Competitive nature. Driven to succeed. Hate to lose
  • Passion for generators and power systems
  • Strong technology skills
  • Solid leadership qualities (examples of initiative)
  • 0-3 years of sales experience
  • Hungry to learn and an ability to apply new knowledge
  • Familiarity with "preventative maintenance services" a strong plus
