Job Description
ROLE OVERVIEW Provide customers with a quick response to their request for delivered goods. WHAT YOU GET TO DO
- Acts as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities. Ensure compliance with all EHS policies and initiatives.
- Plan and execute shipments, in support of the company's policy and procedures, to meet customer's specification.
- Knowledge of International rules/ regulations, and laws is a plus
- Works closely with International Customer Service Rep's to insure all packaging specification and weights are correct on the transportation documents and sets up shipments outside the USA.

- Coordinates with the Customers carrier of choice to ensure the shipment is picked up on time to make it to the shipping port in time to make it on the ship.
- Must fill out "Canadian Custom Invoices" accurately for all shipments going to Canada to prevent them from being hung up in Customs.
- Ensures accuracy of all shipping documents, domestic and/or International, and gathers and maintains all data and records relative to shipping activities.
- Support Logistics initiatives to achieve freight cost reductions and shipping/packing error reduction.
- Prepare shipping documents ensuring accuracy.
- Coordinate and arrange activities to ensure that shipments are scheduled and arrive on time.
- Enter data into Legacy systems in support of Bill of Lading and supplemental documentation. File as appropriate.
- Provide direction to the forklift drivers in support of picking orders to be shipped.
- Participate in and support Continuous Improvement teams

- 2 or more years of related experience in shipping & warehouse operations is a plus
- Experience in SAP is a plus.
