ABOUT THE JOB
* Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
* Assist in the preparation of periodic financial statements, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
* Assist in implementing and maintaining accounting systems and process improvements.
* Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing training and performance feedback.
* Work with external auditors and tax advisors to support audit and tax filings.
* Partner with operations, finance and other departments to support business decision-making.
* Monitor and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies.

ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration with a minor in accounting. A CPA license is preferred. At least five years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Experience in manufacturing or a similar industry is highly desirable. ERP experience, JDEdwards a plus. Should be proficient with Microsoft Office. Leadership, mentoring, and team building skills with proven problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent oral, written, and communication skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain detailed records.
