Job Summary:

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for generating new business opportunities by researching potential clients, qualifying leads, establishing relationships with prospective customers, and collaborating with the sales team to achieve revenue targets and expand the client base; essentially acting as the initial point of contact for potential customers through outbound prospecting activities like cold calling and networking to identify and qualify leads.

Duties/Responsibilities:



  • Actively seek out new potential clients through research, cold calling, email outreach, and networking to identify qualified leads.
  • Screen potential customers to assess their needs, budget, and decision-making authority to determine if they are a good fit for the company's products or services.
  • Manage the sales pipeline by tracking lead progression through the sales funnel and coordinating handoffs to the sales team.
  • Time management to ensure equal collaboration with all 3 RSMs
  • Managing lead progression through full lead qualification when the handoff to the RSMs take place
  • Qualified leads that become accepted sales opportunities and moves through the sales process through closure and realized revenue.
  • Establish initial contact with prospective clients and build rapport through personalized communication to nurture relationships.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the company's offerings to effectively present features and benefits to potential customers.
  • Maintain accurate customer information and activity updates within the company's CRM system.

  • Deliver compelling presentations and effectively communicate value propositions to potential clients.
  • Work closely with the sales team to qualify leads, schedule appointments, and provide necessary information to facilitate successful sales interactions.

  • Ability to travel as required, moderate to extensive travel - when travel restrictions are lifted
  • Ability to work remotely
