Position Overview
The Human and Organizational Performance Effectiveness (HOPE) master's degree is seeking part-time lecturers to develop and/or teach courses or competencies. This program is being developed by the School of Professional Studies at the University of Kansas to be offered beginning fall semester 2025. The degree will be offered with regular in-person, hybrid, and online classes and also in a competency-based version (to begin in Fall 2026). We seek content experts to develop curriculum for the degree and to participate in teaching and assessment activities. Curriculum areas include employee motivation, employee onboarding, employee selection, instructional design, learning and development, organizational communication, organizational effectiveness, organizational change, organizational performance management and metrics, organizational systems, resources allocation, and strategic planning. This position serves the educational needs of a JCERT program. Specific percentages of effort for JCERT are determined each year.
Application materials will be reviewed by the faculty and placed in a pool for consideration for developing and/or teaching courses consistent with departmental instructional needs. The successful candidate must have appropriate authorization to work in the U.S. before employment begins. Job Description Course Developer Duties:
