This position is responsible for providing key analytical support to finance leadership and business partners to help drive efficiency and profitability. This position will support the accounting month-end close processes, including calculating and posting journal entries, in-depth variance analysis, and preparation of month-end reporting, as well as detailed forecast and budget activities. As this position also deals with multiple databases and financial systems, the candidate must have strong data management skills. This person works under limited supervision and, as part of a team, interfaces directly with finance staff at different locations and the parent company and exercises independent judgment.

Work environment demands precision, attention to detail, strong organization skills, and timely completion of projects. Additionally, work responsibilities warrant innovation and creativity.

**This is a hybrid position requiring employees to work from our headquarters location in Snoqualmie, WA with 3 days/ week in the office.**


Responsibilities

  • Perform financial reporting and analyze monthly expenses and variances
  • Analyze P&L and balance sheet trends and variances for assigned geographies and product areas
  • Establish and maintain operating and business metrics
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from senior management
  • Coordinate and consolidate monthly forecasts and annual budgets
  • Participate in the monthly close process and ensure reported costs are stated in accordance with GAAP and are available on a timely and consistent basis
  • Create and maintain monthly finance/management reporting, closely managing operating expenses for key business areas (e.g., RAQA, Marketing)
  • Support divisions through ad hoc financial modeling, analysis, and reporting, including new business opportunities, pricing analysis, and customer and product line proformas

Qualifications

  • BA or BS, preferably in business, accounting, or finance
  • 5+ years' experience in finance-related roles - e.g., financial planning and analysis, business analysis, financial modeling or forecasting
  • Ability to effectively utilize data to provide insightful analysis and prudent recommendations
  • Experience with ERP and financial systems/applications (i.e., MfgPro, Oracle, SAP); Advanced Excel skills
  • Power BI or Tableau experience a strong plus
  • Ability to manage multiple, complex priorities within demanding timeframes
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present confidently to Senior Management
  • Proven ability to deliver results through others, both direct and matrixed
  • Strong work ethic and self-starter; proven track record for delivering on commitments
  • Experience working positively and productively in a collaborative team environment
  • Work effectively in ambiguous situations
  • Use of computer: 100%
  • Must be able to complete job responsibilities working with different time zone needs, such as attending late night/early morning meetings by phone and/or web to meet global business needs: 10%
