Job Purpose

As an IT Project Manager Intern, you will assist in planning, executing, and closing IT projects under the guidance of experienced professionals. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain real-world project management experience, develop critical technical and leadership skills, and make meaningful contributions to EnerSys' IT initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Assist in the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and status reports.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
  • Communication: Facilitate project meetings, track progress, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and collaborate on mitigation strategies.
  • Tools and Technologies: Learn and utilize project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, or Trello) to manage tasks and monitor progress.
  • Quality Assurance: Support testing and validation activities to ensure project deliverables meet requirements.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of IT systems and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Interest in mobile device management and secure data transmission technologies.
