Description
PURPOSE As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing, documenting, and leading the implementation of third-party software solutions that align with the organization's business needs and technical requirements. You will serve as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams ensuring that solutions are secure, scalable, and appropriately integrated with existing systems. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams to deploy high-quality, business-driven solutions. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Solution Architecture Design & Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of solutions architecture for specific business applications or technologies, ensuring alignment with enterprise business strategy, capabilities, and requirements.
- Consulting & Support: Provide expert guidance and support to IT teams during the implementation of solutions, ensuring alignment with the overall enterprise.
- System Integration: Analyze system requirements and ensure that new solutions are securely integrated with existing applications.
- Technical Mentorship & Guidance: Mentor and coach developers and data analysts, providing technical direction and ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Impact Analysis: Assess the organizational and financial impact of proposed solutions, including effects on skills, processes, structures, and culture.
- Project Collaboration: Work closely with ibml stakeholders to ensure the timely and successful delivery of initiatives. Gather requirements and propose applications or solutions that solve business challenges.
PREFERRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or in a similar role.
- Strong background in application integration and experience with enterprise-level project management.
- Experience with API's, web services, and middleware technologies
- Strong understanding of data formats (e.g., XML, JSON)
- Knowledge of cloud services and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to drive technical decisions and provide mentorship to team members.
- Experience in analyzing and documenting business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience in leading the selection and implementation of business applications.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and familiarity with modern application best practices.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for architecture including security, scalability, and performance.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives concurrently.
