Title: Strategic Sourcing Specialist - Labor Services
Location: Houston, TX

Salary: $99,000 to $150,000
Schedule: Hybrid schedule available of up to 2 days remote per week
Relocation Available

Focus: The Strategic Sourcing Specialist for Labor Services is responsible for the strategic sourcing activities including but not limited to HVAC, instrumentation and electrical, cooling towers, LDAR, fuel services, industrial cleaning and heat tracing, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers along with providing strategic input as needed for tier 3 suppliers within Olin's Chemicals division. Additionally, this role will manage the execution of all contract documents, management of key performance indicators and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure that quality of work, safety, and reliability are met as a key component within these labor services.

Strategic Sourcing Specialist Essential Job Functions:

  • Leads all RFQ activities related to sourcing engagements and performs those activities for the North American region.
  • Strategic sourcing management of approximately $50-$100 million in annual spend.
  • Assists with the development of negotiation strategies from initial supplier contact to agreement execution and administers current agreements by negotiating change orders, executing contract extensions, resolving administrative issues, and updating SMS/SAP
  • Manages supplier claims and associated resolutions
  • Collaborates with strategic partners to develop and manage key performance indicators and quality assurance processes as well as working with internal and external stakeholders to identify and leverage contract value opportunities
  • Calculates and reports actual and projected sourcing savings by spend categories
  • Delivers procurement impact savings in accordance with yearly category objective

Strategic Sourcing Specialist Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree*; Supply Chain, Business or related discipline preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in utilizing the strategic sourcing process with a strong preference of experience sourcing Labor Services for various manufacturing sites
  • Ability to manage the strategic sourcing process along with the negotiation of strategic supplier agreements to maximize value and drive cost reduction
  • Strong negotiation skills with labor rates is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly assess key points and communicate in a clear and concise manner to key internal and external stakeholders
  • Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred
