Layne Water Midstream, a Waste Connections company, is currently hiring an Night Shift SWD Operator/Technician to work at our Layne Water Midstreamfacility in Pecos, TX. In this role, you will be working outside in all weather conditions assisting the Operations team with management and inspection activities related to all produced water infrastructure management.This is a local job with no travel and no per diem.We offer family benefits, 401k, and paid vacation.

Pay Range: $30+ DOE

Schedule: Night Shift working 12-hour shifts on a 7 Days On, 7 Days Off rotation.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the daily Lease Operation activities for and functional knowledge of multiple pipelines and Salt Water Disposal (SWD) facility projects.

  • Participate in weekly Operations meetings with detailed reports of activities, problems and/or needs form the team

  • Reviews and signs daily field tickets as needed for third party contractors.

  • Assist operations team with procurement and material tracking. Supports LWM team with inventory management

  • Assist project engineering with maintaining project schedules and budgets. Support contractors/subcontractors, engineers and related performing entities.

  • Good communication skills and will requires routine reporting (Daily reports, Weekly Reports, Monthly Reports, Safety Issues etc.)

  • Always wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while on the jobsite (i.e. vest, earplugs, glasses, hard hat, etc.)

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as an Oil and Gas Lease Operator is Required.

  • Must reside within 45 minutes of Pecos, TX.

  • Must be willing to work Night Shift.

  • Ability to handle multiple contractors and multiple fast-paced SWD Operations simultaneously is required.

  • Familiarity with Electronic Controls and Instrument as well as Electrical.

  • Knowledge and the application of Oil field operations, dealing with high pressure piping and systems, production documentation. Estimating, cost, of small roustabout projects, scheduling, documentation, working knowledge of engineering/operations principles, techniques, materials, applications, and practices are required
