Redwood Waste Solutions, Inc., a Waste Connections company, is looking to hire a Maintenance Clerk Admin to join our team in Willits, CA!

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am-5 pm. The starting pay is $23-$25 per hour, depending on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily administrative tasks for the department, including compliance, policies, expense reports, and onboarding.
  • Organize and maintain the shop filing system for a large fleet, including truck/equipment maintenance, mechanic, and compliance files.
  • Order parts for the team and handle inventory purchasing, stocking, and distribution.
  • Manage parts in RTA parts management software and maintain the parts room according to company standards.
  • Track warranties and prepare reports using Excel.
  • Maintain the company's PO log and prepare shop accounts payable for approval.
  • Manage truck files and oil sample program.
  • Communicate and manage relationships with vendors.
  • Follow safety protocols and conduct yourself according to company and district safety policies.
  • Oversee the accounts payable process for the Maintenance Department.
  • Promote the company's standard operating procedures for a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible workplace.
  • Learn and use proprietary operational systems.
  • Track and maintain DMV registration records.
  • Perform other clerical duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as an Administrative Assistant in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to gather data, compile information, and create reports.
  • Ability to work well with others and foster a cooperative environment.
  • Willingness and ability to learn company-specific systems and policies.
