New Journey, a Genesis10 company, is actively seeking a resource for a full time 3 month Contract position with potential for extension or conversion. Compensation: $21.50 per hour The Maintenance Mechanic Level 1 supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes on assigned facilities. Assists others on operations and facilities team or third-party vendors in maintenance and repair efforts, as well as independently performing defined tasks. Performs inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, including walls, ceilings, flooring, installed fixtures, etc. Job Responsibilities: Perform all work with a strong customer service or servant heart mentality and presence * Work with others, clients, and vendors on account Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations. General interior maintenance - hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems and repair doors. Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment and/or as directed Moves office furniture, machinery, equipment and other materials as requested Update work order status in real time Utilize CMMS systems such as 360 Facility for all work performed. Escalating problems or issues to Customer and Manager in a timely manner Attend work and safety meetings as required Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 1 year of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
