The Clinical Pharmacy Management team is looking to grow the team and hire an Authorization Lead. This role will work remote from a home office and may be located anywhere in either the Pacific or Mountain timezones. In this role the Authorization Lead provides operational support and leadership to the formulary exception team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals while fostering a collaborative and productive environment. The Lead drives team performance by leading team assignments, facilitating effective communication, mentoring teammates, and maintaining team accountability by championing a culture of excellence. The Clinical Pharmacy Management Team is an integral part of the Clinical Enterprise Department, whose charter is to "create the future of healthcare, by innovating clinical practice design, improving quality of care, service, and life." High Level Roles and Responsibilities: Own administrative support duties to maintain on-going communication, resolve technical concerns, and escalate all outstanding issues including drafting written responses, correspondence, emails, and spreadsheets as required.
Responsible for weekly operational responsibilities as assigned by the direct supervisor, pertaining to the support and monitoring of the frontline team.
Assist with special projects as assigned by Clinical Operations management or its partners
Uphold quality assurance processes to ensure team compliance with clinical guidelines and operational standards
