We are hiring a Microsoft Engineer to join our team on a remote basis!
As the Engineer within our team, you will play a pivotal role in creating and modifying Microsoft 365 solutions to address organizational experience challenges. The MWE team fosters a dynamic, flexible, and inclusive workforce environment where Team Thrivent can thrive, collaborate, and reach their full potential, regardless of location or device. *Key Responsibilities:* * *Solution Development:* Design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain Microsoft 365 solutions. Lead small engineering projects and contribute to larger initiatives. * *Collaboration:* Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve optimal results for the organization. * *Technical Expertise:* Utilize your technical skills to deliver solutions within the M365 framework and related technologies. Engage in low-level design for the product area. * *Problem Solving:* Independently and collaboratively solve complex customer problems. Develop core software that meets or exceeds expectations for stability, scalability, and resilience. * *Continuous Learning:* Stay updated with new Microsoft 365 technologies, including MS 365 Copilot. Collaborate with the team to solve problems and remove roadblocks. Participate in product planning, implementation, and support rotation. Provide technical expertise to resolve issues. *Qualifications:* * Strong communication skills * Active listening and ability to answer questions effectively * Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Power Platform, PowerShell, and PnP * Knowledge of Scrum and Agile principles * Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and practices * Systems design concepts that ensure security and stability * Deep knowledge of operating systems and/or application development platforms * Ability to debug code and analyze complex log files for troubleshooting product defects * Application engineering concepts * Experience with querying databases for data lookup/update * *Preferred Skills:* * Background in insurance and/or financial sectors * Experience with MS Viva suite, MS Forms, MS 365 Copilot, DocuSign, GitHub Copilot, and Poppulo *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
