TEKsystems' client is looking to add a Support Engineer to their team. They are looking to add someone that will be assigned to supporting overall IT operations for the largely engineering focused user base. There are also a few sales users and a couple executives that will be sitting out of this location too. In addition to supporting Windows users they will be supporting other applications like 0365 suite as well as some unique engineering applications for users too. MUST have solid networking skills as this person will be the main IT Site Owner for a team of 125 end users. Configure routers/switches, Wireless Access Points (WAP), network monitoring, server administration, tier 1-3 tech support, etc. *Skills* Windows, Executive Support, Networking, Active Directory, Technical support, office 365, Windows server, System administrator, Powershell, Application support *Top Skills Details* Windows,Executive Support,Networking,Active Directory,Technical support,office 365, TCP/IP, VoIP. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Typical Day to Days: -Helpdesk support within the escalated ticketing queue, network & server administration. -Supporting different applications -Supporting specific engineering applications for the user base -Will be fully dedicated to supporting the engineer and design teams EVP: -Exposure to new EV technologies as well as a growing emerging company within the EV space -Opportunity to work with high profile leaders and IT leaders Working Environment: -Corporate R&D office -Fast paced environment -Close knit team (across US, HQ is in California) -Not super structured right now, but looking for someone that likes process improvement and contributing to building SOP's. Required Background: -6-8+ years of total IT experience -Bachelor's or associate degree within IT -Quick learner, creative thinker when it comes to problem solving -Excellent teamwork, working with others -White glove experience ideal, but great customer service mentality Required Skills: -Strong technical knowledge within Windows & MS 0365 -Networking protocols, configure routers/switches, monitor networking, etc. -Hardware component troubleshooting -Expert level troubleshooting and investigation of technical issues -Strong customer service and experience working with customers on issues Preferred experience with following tools: Active Directory, Windows 10/11, ServiceNow, Azure, Office 365, Autopilot, etc. *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
