Staff Pharmacist- Per Diem

As a per diem, nonexempt, CPS Solutions, LLC Staff Pharmacist at Cedar Creek Hospital, you will fill orders with accuracy; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; update the Director about the activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.
Schedule:This position provides time off coverage "as needed" and does not have any regularly scheduled hours;with a minimum of 4 hours per month.
Starting Pay: $58 - $66 per hour, (Depending on related work experience).
About the Facility: Cedar Creek Hospital is licensed for 65 beds and will provide both adolescents (age 12-17) and adults (18+) with behavioral and mental health services. The average daily census is currently 60 patients, with plans to expand. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
About the Pharmacy: Pharmacy automation includesHCS Clinical, as well as CPOE and eMAR. The pharmacy is openMonday through Friday from 8am to 6pm weekends (both Saturday& Sunday) from8am to 12pm.
Required Qualifications:
- Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Current MI licensure in good standing
- Experience as a pharmacist in a hospital setting, preferred but will consider retail experience
- Good communications skills
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
Hospital Requirements: (may be required)
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof ofnegativeTB skin test within thelast 12 months
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer provingimmunity
- Varicella -(2)documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
- HepB3 Series(or declination)
- (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
- COVID Vaccine-Full(required)
