Primary Duties: Repair idle spindles and breakdowns and perform style changes. Tools Required: Complete set of hand tools, necessary gauges and specialty tools, Company issued lock out/tag out, grease gun, oil cup, steel toe shoes, hand truck, ladder, hand roller picker, utility knife, cut resistant glove, OSHA approved air nozzle for compressed air, respirator, safety glasses, brush, and ear plugs. Materials Used: Fiber, machine parts, lubricants Supervision Exercised: None; receives instructions from Supervisor, Yarn Mill Technical Manager, or Yarn Mill Manager. Job Procedures:
Minimum Job Requirements: Must be able to read and write. Must be cleared by Occupational Nurse for vision and color vision. Must have basic math and computer skills. Competency testing may be required. Follow all Safety Rules, and comply with the Job Safety & Health Analysis (JSHA). All Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be used as required.
