Primary Duties: Cycle assigned weaving machines, repair stops to keep looms running. Inspect fabric for defects and take necessary corrective action. Tools Required: Goggles/safety glasses, dust mask, scissors, reed hook, leno hook, apron, cloth marker, and ear plugs. Materials Used: Warp yarn filling yarn, tie threads, and leno bobbins. Supervision Exercised: None; receives instructions from Supervisor or Lead Person. Job Procedures:
Minimum Job Requirements: Must be able to read and write. Must be cleared by Occupational Nurse for vision and color vision. Must have basic math and computer skills. Follow all Safety Rules, and comply with the Job Safety & Health Analysis (JSHA). All Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be used as required.
